Loft is designed so it never receives your key in a form it can read.
Loft is designed so your recovery phrase is never stored. It isn’t shown again after setup.
What we see
- The size of each encrypted file
- When a file is uploaded or accessed
- How much storage the account is using
- The IP address of a connection
- How many devices the account has
- Which encrypted objects are accessed together
What Loft is designed not to see
- What is inside a file
- A file’s name
- Folder names, and which folder a file is in
- Your key
An account without identity checks
You sign up without a name, email or ID.
During the beta, Loft is designed to keep only the current version of each file, so deleting a file is permanent.
Loft is in private beta. A security review comes before release.
